Dr. S.S. Joshi, the founder of Shekhawati Hospital. After completion of his primary medical education with S P Medical College, Bikaner, he joined SMS Medical College, Jaipur for post graduation in Paediatrics. He had completed his post graduation in the year 2000. During his education in SMS Medical College, he had been elected as President for ‘Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors (JARD)’ in the year 1999.
Dr. Joshi aimed to provide world class treatment facilities at an affordable cost under one roof. Though, it was a tough job in early stage, but Dr. Joshi made this possible by doing work hard enthusiastically and the dream had come true and first stone of the foundation was put in 2005.
The hospital was inaugurated by then honourable governor of Rajasthan, Mahamahim Smt. Pratibha Patilji on 11th March, 2006. The hospital is an ISO 9001 : 2008 approved, 150 bedded, multi-speciality hospital, situated at easily accessible place at Central Spine in Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur. It is well connected with all parts of the city as well as the out skirts and other regions in the state.
